He is survived by: his parent Mary Elizabeth Thorpe Perry; his wife Anita Pettiford Perry; his sons, Willie Perry, Jr. of Oxford, Charles Pettiford of Oxford, Maurice Cates of Oxford and Monta Cates of Oxford; and his siblings, JoAnn Allen of Henderson, Antonia Perry and Otis Perry of Arlington, VA.
