It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Vernon Ford of Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William Vernon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles James and Ruth Bridges Ford; and his wife Patricia DeLashmutt Ford. He is survived by: his children, Richard Vernon Ford and Elizabeth Ford Friend (David).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ketoctin Baptist Church (16595 Ketoctin Church Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132).
