He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Friedman and Eva Friedman (Cohen); and his former wife Renee Friedman (Cohen). He is survived by: his pet Lulu; his wife Learita Garfield Scott; his daughter Helene (James Stoak) of Duncannon, PA; his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Matthew; and his stepchildren, Jay Garfield (Blaine Garson) of Amherst, MA, David (Jung Hwa Garfield) of Honolulu, HI, Sally (Roger Rafson) of Pittsburgh, PA, Carrie (Paul Banks) of Brooklyn, NY, Nina Garfield of Takoma Park, MD and Galen (Sarah Scott) of Silver Spring, MD. He is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
