He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Portsche and Virginia Portsche; and his brother Gary Portsche (Susan Portsche). He is survived by: his wife Susan Ostermiller; his sons, Jeffrey (Nichelle) and Gregory (Arizona); and his granddaughters, Madisyn, Alexandra, Hailey, Calley and Kelsey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
