He was predeceased by: his parents, Azeal Cranford Brooks and Carlin Thomas Brooks, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Abel (Joey) of Memphis, TN and Carlin T. Brooks, Jr. (Teresa) of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
