She is survived by: her husband Dr. Oscar Ellison Jr.; her children, Oscar Ellison, Paula, J. D. and Karla Ellison Hoffman; her brother William Allen, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Allen and Geraldine Allen. She is also survived by six grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
