He was predeceased by: his siblings, Branson Vonor, William Johnson, Astor Green, Wynona Leah, Ray Stanton, Harvey Boswell and Betty Jean.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jackie McKee of Benson, NC. and Annie Gray of Benson, NC.; his nephews, Rick Godwin of Fairfax, VA and Keith Godwin of Fairfax, VA; his sister-in-law Edna Godwin of Arlington, VA; his stepson Roger Redman of Arlington; his stepgranddaughter Yvonne Morrissey; and his son John of Woodbridge, VA.
