He is survived by: his parents, Karen Downing Perkins of San Antonio and Newton Ray Perkins, Jr. of North Carolina; his sister Kelley Morgan Jenkins (Brandon) of Mechanicsville; his nieces and nephews, Hallie and Addison; his grandmother Ruth Ann Downing of Smithfield; and also Newton Ray Perkins, Sr. of Hampton.
