It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Anthony Sr. of Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Anthony and Jeanne E. Anthony; and his sister Bonnie Anthony Penny. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Higgins Anthony; his children, Michaelle Palkovics (Bob), Jeneen Gnilka (Charles), Mike Anthony Jr. (Kim), Kenny Anthony (Jessica) and Kimberley Smith (Aaron); his grandchildren, Ashley (Geoffroy), Zack, Kristen, Michael, Ray, Joshua, Brody, Dani and Oscar; and his siblings, Erve Anthony, Keith Anthony and JoJo Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rappahannock Church of Christ (9981 Newland Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests making a donation to the Annual Josh Baughan Ride-in Cruise-in at Rappahannock Church of Christ.
