He was predeceased by: his parents, Frithjof Karlsen and Borghild Karlsen; and his nieces, Gwen and Diana DeLonzor. He is survived by: his wife Yoshiko; his sister Louise Lidicker; and his nephews, Gerry and Russ DeLonzor.
