He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Martin and Nina Ballard; his brothers, Frankie, Richard and Johnny Ballard; his mother-in-law Fran Manning; his siblings-in-law, Lou Ella Ballard, Butch Manning and Floyd Wilkerson; and his niece Chelsea Manning.
He is survived by: his wife Meg (Manning); his daughters, Karen Robbins (Keith) of Glasgow, Stephanie Trent, Neicy Trent (Kevin) of Hardyville and Mary Eichorst (Ryan) of Munfordville; his siblings, Mattie Wilkerson, Martha Coomer (Danny), Zeba Thomas, Brenda Vincent (Greg), Teddy Ballard, Leonard Ballard (Brandy), Joe Ballard and Luke Ballard; his father-in-law Jim Manning (Dorothy); and his siblings-in-law, Chris Manning (Paula), Judy Manning and Georgina Ballard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
