He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Arlene Yearout; his parents, Ross Edwin Yearout and Ruth Bailey Yearout; and his brother Samuel Edwin Yearout. He is survived by: his sister Peggy Yearout Green; his children, Robert W. Yearout (Glennda), Deanna Reynolds (Dennis), Janet Shrader (Howell) and Tonya Amos (David); his grandchildren, Daniel Jabin Harvey, Mason Kendall Yearout, Dylan Wayne Reynolds, Jessica Wolfe, Jessica Amos, Meagan Dalton, Howell Shrader III and Joseph Shrader; and his great grandchildren, Damian Wolfe, Serenity Wolfe, Jacob Bowman, Noah Spence, Ayden Morris, Brandon Lee Michael Collins and Zach Chilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Veteran Care Center at 4550 Shenandoah Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24017.
