“I went to MWC with Katrina, many moons ago. She was a year before me, and friends with one of the women I dated in college. Katrina was vivaciously funny, utterly brilliant, kind, and open hearted. I did not know here after college but I've thought about her over the years in only positive regards. It was with sadness that I learned of the challenges in health she faced. I am a childhood cancer survivor, touched early in life by loss. My heart goes out to all of you who knew this wonderful woman.”
