He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Heishman Showman; his children, Brenda A. Showman (Rick Brown) of Bowie, MD, Deborah S. Showman (Jimmy Morgan) of Fredericksburg, VA, John L. Showman III (Bob Young) of Palmetto, FL and Kevin R. Showman (Tracey) of Falls Church, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Louise Showman and Betty Showman.
