He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rollin "Happy" Morgan Sr. and Slydelle Stephens Morgan; his son James Rollin "Buddy" Morgan III; his sisters, Judith Rose (Chester "Mickey") and Sarah Lewis (C. W.); and his brother-in-law MSgt Stanley (Ret).
He is survived by: his wife Carrol Elmira Keys Morgan; his daughters, Catherine M. Washington and S. Christine Morgan; his grandchildren, Casandra W. Philipson (Noah), Thomas U. Washington Jr. (Ashleigh) and Elizabeth M. Washington (Kyle Jones); and his brother-in-law Van Keys (Connie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485). A masonic service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Potomac Baptist Church.
