It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Yurchak of Arlington, Virginia, born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Harahuess and Anna Harahuess (Horochak); her daughter Marlene Cox; and her sisters, Justine and Kathryn Yurchak.

She is survived by: her husband George; her son George (Sheila) of Gulfport, MS; her brother Gary Harahuess (Mary) of Cranbury, NJ; her grandson Gregg Yurchak (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Garrett, Colin, Lily, Bruce, Coral, Tanya Hartman (Aaron), Olivia and Andrew.

In accordance with CDC precautions for the public concerning COVID-19 pandemic masks will be worn and social distancing will be required inside the Cathedral.

Do not send flowers. Please make a donation in lieu of flowers in Helen Yurchak's name to St Nicholas Cathedral.
