He was predeceased by: his grandfather James Leonard. He is survived by: his parents, Kirsten Backstrom and Chad Backstrom; his sisters, Bridget, Emily and Syndey; his grandparents, Marie Leonard and Gail Roach (Tom); his aunt Kaileen Leonard (Glen Cullen); his uncle Josh Backstrom (Denni); and his friend Virginia. He is also survived by close friends, his cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be given in memory of Gage that will be donated at a later date to several organizations close to Gage's heart.
