He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Cynthia Wooten and Christopher Hubbard; his sister Lavinia; his children, Christopher Eugene and Cynthia Loraine; his grandfather Pop; his wife Josephine P. Hubbard; his brothers, Arthur Lewis Hubbard and Michael J. Hubbard; and his son-in-law Wesley I. Wooten, Jr.. He was also cherished by daughter; a nephew he viewed as a son, Wesley L. Days, Sr.; sister-in-law, Lavinia P. Barnes; six brothers: Hosea Hubbard, Sr. (Sarah), Wardell Hubbard, Sr., Willie Hubbard, Sr. (Willie Marie), Jackson Hubbard, Sterling Hubbard, Sr., and Enoch Hubbard, Sr.; four sisters: Evelyn Sabb (Lee), Vola McCartney, Fannie Richo, and Fostina Mitchell; four grandchildren, Wesley I. Wooten IV, Cherise I. Wooten, Warren I. Wooten, and Cerena I. Wooten; one great-grandchild: Kobe X. Wooten, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, god-children, cousins, friends.
