He is survived by: his parents, Edward Thompson and Anna Liebeck; his children, Rebecca Cohen and Gregory Thompson (Mary); his grandchildren, Kristofer Thompson, Nicholas (Renée), Benjamin, Sarah Cohen, Michael, Sara and Emily Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jacques Cohen and Julienne Cohen.
