Clarie June Lavington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarie June Lavington in Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, JD Watford and Hazel Watford of Tallahassee, Florida.. She is survived by: her husband Michael Lavington; her daughters, Susan Lavington (Michael Welther) of Alexandria and Victoria Lavington (Michael Carrasquillo) of Staten Island; her sisters, Tara Smith of Tallahassee and Toija DeHoll (Chris) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Leigh, Emma, Max, Sarah Welther, Sylvia and Philip Carrasquillo. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Raised in Florida, June won a full scholarship from the Dupont Foundation to attend Florida State University, where she received her BA and MA in Biology.
