He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee Jones and Virginia Rose Morris. He is survived by: his wife Yung Jones; his brother Norman Jones; his children, Andre Jones, Venita Dawson, Marlis Martin and Devin Jones; and his stepdaughters, Gloria Brassard (Darren), Susanna Thornton (Jason) and Olivia Stewart (Gary). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
