With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Viar (Arlington, Virginia), born in Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on October 28, 2019 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie M. Hudson. She is survived by: her children, Renee Rutherford of Madison Heights, Bobby Lee Viar, Jr. of Rustburg, Tony Viar of Rustburg, Betsy of Rustburg, Ira Viar (Gail) of Rustburg and Stacey Hall (Chuck) of Rustburg; her siblings, Louise Leonard (Frank) of Forest, Thomas Hudson (Susan) of Lynchburg, Kathy Hancock (Hanna) of Lynchburg, Wayne Hudson of Roanoke and Patricia Moore (Brian) of Lynchburg; and her pet Sunshine. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
