He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Buckner and Gertrude Buckner; and his brother Spencer Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Denise Buckner; and his daughter Deanna Marquez (Omar). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Palmer Springs Volunteer Fire Department (1697 Palmer Springs Road, Boydton, VA 23917), Southside Rescue Squad (P.O. Box 546, South Hill, VA 23970), and/or Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (3033 Wilson Blvd, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22201) honoring Arthur's generous and giving nature.
