It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Esteras (Arlington, Virginia), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husbands, George Long and William C. Esteras; her son Brian Long of High Point; her grandson Austin Long; her stepdaughters, Jill Esteras of Santa Cruz and Wendy Esteras of Silverado Canyon; her stepgrandchildren, Diego, Logan and Nichol; her mother Eula Hargette Lyons of High Point; her sister Alice Rothrock (Tom); her niece Whitney Rothrock Wellborn (Ben Wellborn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Allie, Mia and Daniel of Fayetteville; her nephew Leeland Rothrock (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kai and Rori of Newport, RI.; and her father Bert Eldon Lyons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the American Parkinson's Disease Association and the American Diabetes Association.
