He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Smith and Maggie Smith; and his brother Ray Alexander Smith. He is survived by: his wife Fern Johnson Smith; his brother Larry Smith (Betty); and his nephew Brad Smith. He is also survived by several other nieces nephews.
