He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Smith and Maggie Smith; and his brother Ray Alexander Smith. He is survived by: his wife Fern Johnson Smith; his brother Larry Smith (Betty); and his nephew Brad Smith. He is also survived by several other nieces nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
