He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Jackson Young and Margaret Eaton Young; and his niece Quinn Davis. He is survived by: his daughter Brittany Burchette; his son-in-law Charlie Burchette, III of Ararat; his grandchildren, Lydia Becerra and Adrian Burchette; his siblings, Jay Young of Winston-Salem, NC, Leon Young of Mt. Airy, NC and Paulette Hunter; and his close friends, Morgan Nunn of Ararat and Happy Martin of Ararat.
