He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Eaton and Vera Bowman Eaton; his wife Effie Ann Cain Eaton; his son Jeffrey Todd Eaton; and his sisters, Jean Young (Claude) and Jan Collins (Hassell).
He is survived by: his daughter Sandy Marshall (Billy); his grandchildren, Heather Wilson (Joe), Alex Eaton and Evan Marshall (Jessica Lawrence); his great grandchildren, Finley Ray Wilson and Foster Lee Wilson; his siblings, Eva Wyatt and Clayton Eaton (Valerie); his sisters-in-law, Jeanette and Ann Eaton; his daughter-in-law Laura Eaton; his brothers, Roger Eaton, Terry Eaton, Roscoe Eaton and Dillard Eaton; and his brother-in-law Bob Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church (4282 Willis Gap Rd, Ararat, VA 24053).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Mr. Eaton to Mountain Valley Hospice and palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Dr Suite 101, Mt Airy, NC 27030 or to Mountain View Cemetery Fund 3609, Willis Gap Rd., Ararat, VA 24053.
