It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mintia Tobler Knowles of Ararat, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Crockett Jordan Tobler and Mary Deli Easter Tobler; her husband David Early Knowles; her siblings, Ina Beasley, Novaline Webb, Orfie Tobler and Melvin Tobler; and her son-in-law Herbert Sawyers.
She is survived by: her children, Traci Sawyers (David Hamm), Teresa Sawyers (Brian Martin), Raymond (Patricia Knowles) and Richard (Diana Knowles); her sister-in-law J. M. Tobler; her close friend Tina Crouse; and her pets, Trouble and Albert. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers.
