He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Marie Sebastian Atkins; and his siblings, Beulah Jones, Violet Butner, Ila Fay Atkins, Anna Atkins, Wade Atkins, Calvin Atkins and Claude Atkins.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Ferris, Pam Atkins and Terry Atkins; his daughter-in-law Christina Atkins; his grandchildren, Shanna Harrison, Melissa Harrison, Todd Harrison, Thaddeus Atkins, Allison Atkins, Carlee Dise, Cynthia Dise, Jessica Ferris and Melanie Griffin; and his brother Greer Oliver Atkins.
