He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Elizabeth Dulaney Smith; and his wife Marti Goins Harris. He is survived by: his father David Thomas Harris, Sr.; his daughters, Miranda Jo (Justin Schoolcraft) and Morgan Goins; his grandson Brayson Adkins; his stepparents, Yvonne Harris and Rodger Smith; his siblings, Ann Harris, David T. "Buddy" Harris, Jr. and Mark J. (Micki Harris); and his close friends, Eric Smith and Cam Johnson.
