She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Boyd and Rose McMillian Boyd; her husband Ellis Gwyn; her sons, Lynwood Gwyn and R. Wade Gwyn; her son-in-law Barry Stanley; and her siblings, Nettie Boyd Gwyn, Beulah Boyd Smith, Lena Boyd Hiatt, Margie Boyd Dawson (Red) and Posey Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Gwyn Stanley, Jimmy (Wendie Gwyn) and Steve Gwyn; her daughter-in-law Betty Jean Gwyn; her grandchildren, Rodney Gwyn, Jonathan (Melanie Gwyn), David (Heather Gwyn), Todd (Keshia Gwyn), Gwyndoyln (Troy Imler), Dr. Jennifer Stanley and Shelley (Scottey Mounce); and her great great grandchild Braxton Wade Gwyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
