He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence Niten and Eunice Marie Bowman Niten; and his siblings, William, Oral Niten, Emily East and Margaret Niten.
He is survived by: his children, Michael and Glenna; his granddaughter Brittany Carter; his great grandchildren, Cailey and Jesse Bo Davis Arnett of Ararat, VA.; his siblings, Richard Niten (Libby), Brenda Sales, Jannie Booth, Jean Gordy (Marshall), Judy Mount and Elizabeth Esseck (Roger); and his close friends, Andrew and Donald.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Barnard Family Cemetery, C/O Donna Mankins, 3028 Raven Rock Rd, Ararat VA 24053.
