He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Antoinette Coulson Dawson; and his siblings, Iris Willis, Myrtle Marshall, Laura McMillian, Elsie Marshall, Ruth Ferguson, Lelia Moore, Esther Mayes, Winfred Dawson, Howard Dawson, Harry Dawson and Amos Dawson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Dawson Hoofnagle, Kay Pittman (Douglas) and Lynn Felts; his grandchildren, Tracy Eastridge, Kristina Marrero, Richard Warner, Emma McGraw (Nathan) and Erin Loncharic; his great grandchildren, Abby Eastridge, Beth Eastridge, Lukas McGraw, Greyson McGraw, Triston Warner, Bradford Warner, Jaxon Warner, Carmen Marrero and Isabella Marrero; his great great grandchild Noah; his close friends, Lori and Ronnie Easter; and his pet Fluffy. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
