He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Haynes and Treva Hall Haynes; his wife Violet Riggins Haynes; and his grandson Mikle Dixon, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Monica Haynes of Cana, Shane Haynes of Cana and Shannon Haynes of Cana; and his stepchildren, Johnny Spurlock of Dublin, Travis Spurlock of Hillsville and Brandy Richardson (Russell) of Dublin. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
