It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Bowman of Ararat, Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harden and Laura Myrtle Lewis Bowman; her husband Theodore Edgar Bowman; and her brothers, Bernard Dillard Bowman and Donald Gray Bowman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Wyona (Edd Scott), Wanda (Roger Holt) and Joan (Ricky Holt); her sister-in-law Mary Bowman; her brother Garland; her sister-in-law Joyce Bowman; her close friend Velma Loudermilk; her caregivers, Kathleen Barnes, Donna Krause, Bertie, Gabby and Carly; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
