He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Cole and Daisy Holt Cole; his wife Betty Louise Tilley Cole; and his son David Paul Cole. He is survived by: his nephew Arlis "Teeny" Burkhardt of Harriman, TN; and his nieces, Bonnie Stevens of Mount Airy and Judy Cole Hilliard of Kernersville, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
