She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Adolph Schieve and Mary Anne Cremer Berbian; and her brother Mark Schieve. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Robert Gates; her children, Trever Farnsworth (Michelle), Jeffery Gates (Rachel) and Trina Anne Gates; her siblings, Robyn Schieve and Scott Schieve (Tre); and her nieces, Zarah Schieve and Coral Schieve.
