She was predeceased by: her parents, Coley Willis and Annie Alice Johnson Watson; her husband J. Sanford Chilton; her siblings, Belvin Watson Booth, Junior Willis Watson and Arlis Loxley Watson; her niece Karen Lisa Watson; and her nephew Elbert Hassell Watson, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Debra; her son-in-law Paul Simmons of Ararat; her grandchildren, Nick Sechrist, Lisa Adams and Dena Cain; her great grandchildren, Kasey Harris, Kayla Sechrist, Breanna Largen, Steven Flinchum and Angel Hedrick; her sister Peggy Fowler of Ararat; her nieces and nephews, Patsy Eakes, Louise Watkins, Denise Brady, Tammy Reynolds, Ricky Watson, Benny Watson and Jimmy Watson; and her close friend Don Childress.
