She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cleveland and Jessie Mae Childress Ayers; her husband Lonzie Eaton; and her siblings, Polly France, Ruby Marshall, Mary Virginia Willis, G. C. Ayers, Leonard Ayers and Gaston Ayers.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Gayle Rierson (Larry Underwood) of Pilot Mountain; her sister Lillian Scales (Joe) of Ararat, VA; her granddaughter Shayna Johnson of Mt. Airy; her great grandchildren, Caleb Woods of King and Lindsay Scott; and her great great grandchild Mason Scott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
