He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardin Otis and Lorene Ola Epperson Radford; his son Dwight James; and his brothers, Arnold, Arliss (Jeff) and Wendell.
He is survived by: his significant other Frances Hill Radford; his children, Greg Radford (Kim) and Cindy Hoffman (Tim); his grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Jessica Harriman, Aaron, Forest, Caleb, Josh, Seth, Zechariah, Nathanial, Gabriella and Micah; his brother Dale; and his sister-in-law Ann. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Unity Church (2874 Unity Church Rd, Ararat, VA 24053). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Frances H Radford 4332 Unity Church rd., Ararat VA24053 to be used for memorial stone commemorating Alvin's life.
