He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bowman and Mary Goins Bowman; his former wife Clara Belle Bowman; his son Grady Lee Bowman; and his sisters, Myrtle Pack, Maxie Goins and Nannie Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Puckett Bowman; his daughters, Linda (Jackie Stroud) and Shirley; his close friend Tommy Hawks; his sons, Junior Bowman and Burton (Diane Bowman); his stepchildren, Barnell and Johnny King; and his sister-in-law Libby Bowman. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step grandchildren; brother.
