With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Comer Vaughan of Appomattox, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Sarah Comer is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sarah Comer's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Lloyd Vaughan, Sr.; her parents, Frank Comer and Edna Garland Comer; and her sister Susan C. Coleman. She is survived by: her son William L. "Bill" Vaughan, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Michael Vaughan, Tyler Vaughan and Katie Vaughan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522).
