With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Woody of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Branch and Mabel Woody; her former husband Lyle Phelps; her brothers, Allen Branch and Tommy Branch; and her granddaughter Destini Phelps.
She is survived by: her husband James E. Woody; her children, Vanessa Mettler (Leon), Wanda Jobe (John) of Appomattox and Tony Phelps (Laurie) of Forest; her grandchildren, Adam Clifton (Hilary Wingfield), Jake Jobe (Holly), Zach Jobe (Aimee) and Mikayla Phelps; her great grandchildren, Christian, Taytum, Jensen and Luke Jobe; and her friend Wanda Jobe.
