She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ophard Slagle and Mable Wyatt Slagle; her sister-in-law Judy B. Slagle; and her son-in-law Jimmy Miller. She is survived by: her children, Steve Cawthorn of Appomattox, Matthew Webb (Kami) of Roanoke and Donna C. Miller of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Joey, Cora, Charlie, Alex, Ben Webb and James Buchholz; and her siblings, William "Bill" Slagle (Sarah) of Appomattox, Linda Seay (Richard) of Appomattox and Roger D. Slagle of Appomattox. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hollywood Baptist Church (6564 Hollywood Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522).
