In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Ray Matthews; her parents, Inez Presley Crabb and Leonard Milton Crabb; her children, Susan Matthews Shorter (Larry) of Appomattox and David Matthews of Lawton, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Cameron Shorter Jewett (Keith) and Logan Shorter; her brother Kenneth Wayne Crabb of Asheville; her brother-in-law Larry Matthews (Jan); and her brother Barry Crabb.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (1709 Church St, Appomattox, VA 24522).
