She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Lewis Harris, Sr.; her parents, Burley Braxton Harris, Sr. and Marietta Dunn Harris; her son Thomas "Tommy" Douglas Harris; and her siblings, Burley Braxton Harris, Jr. and Joyce Rosen.
She is survived by: her children, Allan L. Harris, Jr. (Gail H.) of Appomattox, Debbie H. Elliott (Linwood) of Appomattox, Marilyn Renee H. Wingfield (Robert "Bobby") of Appomattox and Amy H. Heilig (Mark) of Liberty, NC; her daughter-in-law JoAnn Harris; her grandchildren, Michelle Meador, Jessica Rinck, Kellie Geesaman (Steve), Braxton Elliott (Megan), William Elliott (Kimberly), Drew Elliott, Marilyn Elizabeth Primm, Katie Wingfield Martin (Dillan), Lauryn Heilig, Cadence Heilig, Morgan Heilig and Dylan Geesaman; her great grandchildren, McKinnly, Cole, Brilyn, William, Grace, Emily, Ben, Kevin, Raleigh, Reagan, Mary Sue and Olivia; and her siblings, Peggy H. Lewis and Robert Gene Harris.
