She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kidd and Mable Kidd; and her siblings, Percy Kidd, Floyd Kidd, Allen Kidd, James Kidd, Ethel Braxton, Zella Jordan and Irena Glover.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Kidd (Amanda) of Appomattox, Bradley Kidd (Verna) of Gladys, Regina Pennix (Michael) of Appomattox, Tiffany Kidd (Gregory) of Lynchburg, VA and Denise Carr (Kam) of Lynchburg, VA; her sisters, Doretha Megginson and Jean Franklin; her niece Roslyn Megginson; and her close friend Loretta Pennix. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
