She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Hoover "Bert" Peters, Jr.; her parents, Ruby Tweed Price and Joseph Willard Price; her daughter Michelle Renee Peters; her parents-in-law, Herbert H. Peters, Sr. and Edythe W. Peters; and her brother-in-law Ric Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Allison P. Garrett (Timothy) of Appomattox, Timothy Peters (Michelle) of Forest and Douglas Fredrick "Ric" Peters (Deanna) of Lynchburg; her siblings, Clyde L. Price and Joanne P. O'Brien; her grandchildren, Ashley Lucado (AJ), Jonathan Garrett (Jennifer), Dylan Garrett, Josh Peters (Chelsea), Jordan Peters (Rachel), Justin Henderson, Brooke Litchford (Davey), Joseph Peters and Saunceia Peters; and her great grandchildren, Camden Garrett Joy, Callie Lucado, Collyns Lucado, Sawyer Garrett, Paxton Garrett, Abigail Peters and Riley Peters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
