He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor Martin and Elaine Marshall Martin; and his brother William "Billy" Martin. He is survived by: his wife Carroll Wood Martin; his sons, Kenneth Martin (Shannon) of Concord and Jeff Martin (Jamie) of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Kurt Martin (Taylor), Katy Blaine Martin, Madison Martin and Carter Martin; his great grandchild Layney Gray Martin; his siblings, Frankie Martin (JoAnn), Mark Martin (Jackie) of Rustburg, Jody Martin of Appomattox, Jeanita Gilpin of Amherst, Karen Gaines (Charles) and Susie Hensley (Randy) of Huddleston, VA; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Martin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
