He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Alise Almond Campbell; and his parents, Grace Elizabeth Eagle Campbell and Kinkle Campbell. He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Campbell of Rustburg and K. W. "Kin" Campbell, III of Lynchburg; and his siblings, Richard Earl Campbell (Jeanie) and Joyce Milliren (Robert) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
